This patient came to see us over 5 years to remove his two arm tattoos – the large black sun and the orange flame below.
He asked that we share his photos along with a discussion of how long the process can take – and we love that, because it can seem really fast when you watch the actual laser sessions on social media. The truth is, those sessions are quick, but not spaced close together, and that can make the process quite long. Many patients will also choose to spread out their treatments so that they can afford the process without financing, which can also make it take longer than necessary.
Because we have many different lasers and they are being operated by doctors who understand the complex science behind tattoo removal, we double-treated his tattoos at every visit – meaning we did 1 laser pass to help remove the orange-yellow color (with a 532nm Laser) and 1 laser pass to treat the black ink (with a 1064nm laser) – and that helped him to require fewer visits to the office than he would have needed if he went to see a practitioner who doesn’t either have both of those lasers or understand how to safely treat both simultaneously.
If you want to discuss your treatment options, we warmly welcome you to our offices for a complimentary one-on-one consultation with one of New Jersey’s top cosmetic physicians.
