RF Microneedling with Concentrated Platelet Therapy (3 Sessions)
This patient had puffy under eye bags caused by herniated fat pads (the fat underneath the eye often breaks free of its natural constraints and drifts upward during the aging process). The best treatment for this is lower eyelid surgery, where a plastic surgeon can reposition the fat, muscle, and skin around the under eye.
However, many patients have decided surgery is simply off the table for themselves, and in that case, RF Microneedling (a radiofrequency-heated micro needling treatment) can be used to kill off some of these fat cells and help the skin contract. We added on Concentrated Platelet Therapy at each appointment, to boost the results and speed up any healing time.
