Nose Job Injections

If you’re looking to alter the shape of your nose, you might be surprised by how much can be achieved without rhinoplasty surgery.

This procedure is an advanced injectable procedure and should not be performed by an inexperienced injector. It can lead to serious complications if not performed correctly, and generally less-experienced injectors know this – and that’s why they avoid it. But please be careful in seeking a provider for this injection. Dr. Chasin is a cosmetic physician with 2 decades of experience and is well-respected in the industry for his skill and experience with injectable procedures like this.

A non-surgical nose job can yield temporary results that are comparable to a traditional, surgical nose job depending on the changes you seek and the anatomy you were born with. The procedure is also referred to as non-surgical rhinoplasty, liquid nose job, or 15-minute nose job. Non-surgical nose jobs are a good option for patients who wish to smooth out a bump on the bridge of their nose or achieve an overall less angular look. If you wish to make the nose smaller, non-surgical nose jobs are not the best option for you, although enhancing some features can make the nose look smaller overall. In addition, patients should remember that non-surgical nose job results are not permanent – though filler can last a very long time in the nose.

This page talks about all of the non-surgical ways to change your nose shape. If you are open to a surgical procedure, we can discuss that during your consultation as well, or you can learn about rhinoplasty surgery and schedule your consultation with our board-certified plastic surgeon.

Today’s Best Options for Non-Surgical Nose Job: Botox & Filler Injections

To complete a liquid rhinoplasty, fillers such as Voluma or Lyft may be used. Reflections Center offers a full range of dermal fillers, and your physician will explain the best option for your treatment.

Smooth Out Bumps Using Dermal Fillers

Smoothing bumps on the nose is one of the primary reasons why patients seek a non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure. This can be achieved using dermal fillers, which are injectable products typically composed of hyaluronic acid to increase volume below the skin in selected areas. A non-surgical nose job using filler can smooth a bump on the nose by raising dipped areas so the profile is an overall straight angle.

Botox to Lift Nose Tip

The angle of the nose tip can be adjusted non-surgically using Botox. Botox works by temporarily partially deactivating the muscles. When injected into the muscle that pulls the tip of the nose downward, known as the depressor septi nasal muscle, the nose tip can be reshaped. The result of a Botox nose lift is a perkier, slightly upturned nasal tip.

Botox for Bunny Lines

This really isn’t considered part of a non-surgical nose job, but many women get lines on the side of the nose called “bunny lines” – and they actually tend to get worse the more Botox you use between the brows, surprisingly enough. They’re very easy to treat with just a little Botox, and if you have this issue (and you have a non-surgical nose job) you would certainly want to clean these up, too.

Comparing Nose Surgery vs A Non-Surgical Nose Job

Nose Job (Rhinoplasty) It can smooth out humps, asymmetries, or mild crookedness. Helps create a smoother surface and can add width or height to the bridge and top of the nose. You can also change the tip angle to adjust the tip upward. Rhinoplasty offers the additional benefit of tip refinement and has more control over the general width, shape, and appearance of the nose. Around $7,000-$10,000+ 2 weeks with swelling and bruising; 1 year until swelling is fully gone and results are final.

There are several benefits for patients choosing a non-surgical rhinoplasty compared to rhinoplasty surgery. These include avoiding the risks of surgical scarring or complications from anesthesia. Non-surgical nose jobs are also reversible, whereas many of the changes created in surgery can never be reversed.

Surgical rhinoplasty is also one of the most technically difficult plastic surgeries to perform – meaning far fewer surgeons will perform it and those that do it well charge a premium for being the best at a selective surgery (this is, by the way, one surgery we recommend you not price shop – the good nose surgeons are worth the extra fee). A bad surgical result for a nose job carries the risk of complications and breathing problems throughout the healing process and beyond. Not to mention that the healing process alone can be very challenging for patients – expect a full year of recovery during which swelling will often subside, only to return seemingly out of the blue, and breathing may be challenging.

In addition, many patients find that a nose job is a very emotional experience because changes to the face change our self-perception and the face is what so much of your identity is tied to. Non-surgical rhinoplasty procedures allow patients to see certain types of results without permanent changes. If they do like the results, patients are free to pursue a surgical rhinoplasty later.

Why Choose Reflections for
Non-Surgical Nose Job Treatment?

The cosmetic physicians who treat noses with Botox are so well-regarded that they are often called on to train other physicians in the proper injection technique for procedures like the nose lift with Botox. Botox nose injections are uncommon in general because most professionals do not have knowledge or experience injecting the nose and do not know how to effectively achieve results. However, our physicians treat dozens of patients a week with Botox in these so-called “off-label” uses to achieve safe, natural-looking enhanced nasal profiles.

The nose and the area surrounding it are complex and delicate structures, with many crucial nerves and blood vessels just beneath the skin that could be dangerous to treat unless you have the experience and training that our doctors do. Only our cosmetic physicians treat people for a liquid nose job for this reason. However, the results we’re able to achieve without surgery thanks to their expertise are highly satisfying – providing patients of all ages a better-looking nasal profile they’re excited about without the need for surgery or downtime. When you’re looking to “try out” a different nose shape or re-defined nose structure before a surgery, Reflections Center is a great place to start with our reputation for safe, effective procedures.

Whether you choose a non-surgical nose job performed with Botox and/or Filler, or a traditional nose surgery, Reflections’ team of expert physicians can help you achieve your nose goals!

How to Find the Best Non-Surgical Nose Job Treatment Doctor Near You

  • Qualifications
  • One of the best ways to reduce the risks with nose injections is to be selective about your injector. You’re looking for someone who has the anatomy knowledge, injecting experience, and track record of excellent results with this procedure specifically.

For example, a rhinoplasty surgeon may not be a good choice for a non-surgical rhinoplasty if they don’t inject this area very often (and many surgeons simply don’t do injectable procedures that often at all – because they’re spending their days performing surgery). At Reflections Center, our non-surgical rhinoplasty procedures are performed by qualified plastic surgeons who understand the anatomy of the nose and the subtle changes that can create the best possible rhinoplasty results.

  • Important Questions to Ask
  • Some basic questions to ask your potential liquid nose job provider include:

    – What products will I need (Botox, fillers, or both)?

    – How much will each treatment cost?

    – How often do you perform liquid nose jobs?

    – What will be required of me to prepare and recover from the procedure?

You should have a good understanding of their qualifications, including education and training, as well as a generally good comfort level with the way your initial consultation goes. Red flags during a consultation include feeling pressured into a specific procedure or treatment plan or scheduling a date for the procedure immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions About Non-Surgical Nose Job

    • Are there any risks to non-surgical nose jobs?

There are some notable risks involved in non-surgical rhinoplasty, which is why it’s important to seek expert providers for this procedure. Placing filler in the nose is particularly risky for two reasons: important blood vessels in the nose can be injected into or they can be compressed by swelling in this area caused by those injections – both would be a very bad thing. It takes expertise, experience, and a keen understanding of facial anatomy to know how to fill the nose safely and avoid these complications.

    • What is the downtime like for a non-surgical nose job?

Like most injectable procedures, there should be no downtime after receiving a non-surgical nose job. You will likely experience some swelling and redness which should dissipate quickly. Remember, we’re using a different technique for the injections to minimize swelling in this area, so it’s not going to be like freshly-injected lips. The swelling would be very mild, if at all. Bruising is also possible, which will heal quickly as well. You can return to your normal routine immediately after your appointment if you choose but should avoid strenuous activity and exercise for at least 24 hours.

    • What is the cost of a non-surgical nose job?

The final cost of your non-surgical rhinoplasty will vary, particularly according to the products used to achieve your results and the number of syringes necessary. On average, patients can expect a non-surgical nose job to cost between $700-$1000 at our New Jersey offices.

Cost is one of the ways that patients choose between a traditional rhinoplasty and a non-surgical rhinoplasty. Surgical rhinoplasties are significantly more expensive than non-surgical rhinoplasty, making them unaffordable for many candidates. However, surgical rhinoplasty is also a one-time cost. To keep up with non-surgical rhinoplasty results, patients must have maintenance injections performed every 4-18 months, depending on the type of filler or neuromodulator used to complete their procedure. A surgical rhinoplasty, however, represents a one-time investment.

Many patients choose to have a non-surgical rhinoplasty first to determine whether they are satisfied with the results before moving forward with surgery. The best treatment option for you (and your budget) will vary, and our physicians will help you determine a suitable plan during a consultation.

    • What are the benefits of a non-surgical rhinoplasty?

Some of the benefits of a non-surgical rhinoplasty include increasing symmetry and creating a balanced, proportionate nose shape; temporary results, no downtime, and a lower cost compared to traditional rhinoplasty. Downtime, recovery, and pain after rhinoplasty surgery can make the year-long healing process a big undertaking (this is because the bones are broken) but you can avoid all of that with injections and we often achieve a very similar result for many patients.

    • Does a liquid rhinoplasty hurt?

Like other Botox or dermal filler procedures, a liquid rhinoplasty should not be painful. Botox injections are not painful and are very quick. Dermal fillers used for this treatment contain numbing, so there’s little pain involved with those as well, but we can also always do additional numbing if requested by the patient.
