Fat Dissolving Injections

Dissolve fat below the chin using the only FDA-approved injectable, Kybella.

Kybella is the only FDA-approved injectable used to dissolve fat below the chin. This innovative injectable treatment can also eliminate the need for more invasive treatment since it is used to destroy fat and improve the appearance of cellulite.

Fat is gained due to hormonal changes, eating habits, pregnancy, or other reasons. Some people also have a genetic disposition to be overweight. Kybella is an injectable that can be a treatment for some of these concerns.

Today’s Best Option for Fat Dissolving Injections – Kybella

Kybella

Kybella is the only injectable capable of dissolving fat. However, these injections should only be used in specific, small problem areas. Overusing them can create bad outcomes so other treatments can be suggested if you are hoping to treat a larger or more widespread problem area.

Kybella is made from deoxycholic acid, a bile acid naturally produced in the body to absorb fat. Kybella uses a synthetic version of this acid to treat stubborn fat below the chin and pockets of fat causing cellulite. Most patients need 2-4 treatments scheduled a month apart (6 treatments max) to give the acid time to break apart the fat which is then flushed out by the metabolic system. After each treatment, the downtime is minimal, although you may have mild pain, swelling, bruising, and redness around the injection site for a few days.

Why Choose Reflections Center For Fat Dissolving Injections

Since Kybella is the only FDA-approved fat dissolving injectable, it is the only one we offer at Reflections Center. We want our patients to only have treatment options that are both safe and effective for their specific skin type, age, and concern. At Reflections, your doctor will give you an honest opinion about which treatment will be best for you. If we do not think Kybella injections will give you good results, we will discuss other treatment options with you and make sure you are comfortable with the chosen alternative. Our goal is happy patients, and we never want to push you into a treatment you do not want.

Extensive Product Collection for Personalized Treatments

We offer free consultations to give you time to speak with one of our physicians about each of your available options and can answer any questions or concerns you have at this time. We don’t just stock one or two formulas but rather as many as we can get our hands on that we’ve researched and deemed safe and helpful for people in specific scenarios. This allows us to provide much more fine-tuned treatments for people who may have otherwise been told that it’s a one-size-fits-all approach or nothing.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fat Dissolving Injections

    • Does Kybella remove fat permanently?

Yes! Kybella permanently destroys fat cells, although you can still gain weight again if you do not stick to a healthy diet and exercise routine.

    • How long does Kybella last?

The results of Kybella are permanent as long as you maintain a stable weight.

    • Do fat dissolving injections leave loose skin?

If your skin is beginning to age and has lost its elasticity, it may appear a little loose after Kybella treatment. A quick skin tightening treatment can fix this.

    • Can fat come back after Kybella?

The fat cells targeted by the injections cannot come back but other fat cells can grow if a stable weight is not maintained.

    • Can you still have a double chin after fat dissolving injections?

Your double chin could return if you gain a significant amount of weight after your injections.

    • Can Kybella work after one treatment?

You should start to see results after one treatment, but most patients need at least two Kybella sessions for optimal results.

    • Can you see Kybella results after two weeks?

Not quite yet – it takes the body some time to flush out the dead fat cells, so you will have to wait 4-6 weeks to see your results.

    • What happens to fat after Kybella?

The broken-down fat cells will gradually be flushed out by your body’s natural metabolic process.
