Tribal Tattoo Removal at Reflections Center: Illicia’s Story

Illicia came to Reflections Center and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Chasin to have her tattoos removed. She says “I have a few tattoos that I got when I was at the age of twenty that I wanted to remove. One on my finger, one on my thigh. The one on my finger was all black ink and it was of a name that I wanted to get rid of. The one on my thigh was fairly large and very concentrated with a lot of black ink. It was just something I didn’t want to have any longer. When I put on a bathing suit it was kind of an eyesore as a tribal.” Illicia’s experience is relatively common; many people choose to have tattoos removed that are no longer in-trend or relevant to them personally. Illicia had some reservations about tattoo removal.
